Do you host events?
Yes, we host events of all sizes for personal or corporate occasions held by both members and non-members!
Do I have to be a member to host an event?
Nope. We host events for both members and non-members. It really is the perfect venue for company outings, private parties, fundraisers, tournaments or any other reason to get out and enjoy our course and patio.
How do I book an event?
Contact us by phone, email or the via form below and we will be in touch to work through the details of your event. Our event coordinator will help organize the event and make sure everything is ready for your event day. There is a booking deposit required to secure your date, which is deducted from the event fee. Please get in touch and we can walk you through our process.
Can you host a group of 3 people? 300 people? How many can you host?!
We can host events for small, intimate parties or large, corporate full-day retreats. No matter the size of the group, we will help make your event a success. We have two types of events: Badlands Social events for groups up to 30 and Exclusive Events where we'll close the course during your event and you have exclusive use of the course and patio. Leave the venue planning to us and free up your time to enjoy the event!
Do you serve drinks? What will we drink?
Indeed we do. We are a licensed establishment with a well-stocked bar. Wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks are on the menu. We might just have one of the best liquor selection in Waterloo. If not, we're definitely close.
Do you have food on site? What will we eat?
You betchya. We have event meal packages and will serve your group. Get in touch for our current meal packages and pricing. And yes, we are licensed and serve drinks as well!
Some of us aren't golfers... should we really hold an event at a golf course?
The Badlands course is designed for both beginner and advanced golfers. It's a laid-back, judgement-free environment and the perfect place to take some swings even if you aren't joining the PGA tour anytime soon. Some of our happiest customers are first time golfers. But we also spice things up with extra games, putting competitions, and don’t forget about our amazing patio; possibly the nicest in Waterloo Region.
Can you provide loaner clubs?
Yes we can but, of course, we do not have an unlimited amount of loaner clubs. Please speak with your event coordinator about loaner club needs and we will do our best to accommodate. We can also help you figure out club sharing and other logistics within your group.
Do you have golf carts for rent?
We do not have powered golf carts but we do have complimentary pull carts on site. The course is walkable and we encourage walking with your group as part of the socializing experience. Plus, it is a good amount of exercise without being exhausting for most of our guests.
